Lou Desso's seat on the North Greenbush Town Board was brought to a unanimous halt today by a 5-0 decision of the NY State Appellate Division. Unanimous means he can't even appeal without the permission of the State's highest court, the Court of Appeals.
Every point of the decision rendered by Supreme Court was affirmed. You can read the decision here.
The decision also means that Desso will not be able to participate in tonight's board meeting.
Tonight's Board Meeting begins at 7PM and has an Executive Session listed which could delay the public meeting by an hour, hopefully less. Here is the agenda thus far:

Well now maybe the town board can fulfill Desso's last request and appoint his wife to his seat and keep that paycheck coming in!
