Al Spain's Comprehensive Plan Committee continues to feather the nest of it's no bid contract consultant with another meeting tonight to "reconsider" the work of the former consultant, Bergman Associates. With deplorable attendance from both the commitee and public, these meetings have been held in the annex of town hall to the right of the main entrance.
This time the agenda is "Transportation, Infrastructure & Municipal Services" and is scheduled from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This is literally a chapter already provided to the town by Bergman Associates.
As we have stated before, this process is an insult to the residents of this town who spent two years providing their input and time to produce a community supported plan for development. Now, Spain and his allies are doing it all over at considerable expense because they apparently don't like the plan produced by the community or simply those who produced it.
Do feel free to show up and tell them what a waste of time this is and what an insult it remains to all.
