Rensselaer County Democratic chair Tom Wade was re-elected unanimously to a new two year term at the American Legion last evening. Only Tony Farina from Jeff Spain's group attended the meeting. We understand Spain is ill and was unable to attend.
On another subject we incorrectly reported the resignation of Anthony Germano from the Planning Board. It is Greg DeJulio who resigned upon election as GOP Town Chair. The town ethics law precludes serving as a party chair while on the town payroll.
Town Board meeting tonight includes a information meeting on the proposed Water 15.
