Overflow Crowd on Proposed Water 15

They were out in the hall unable to get in the town board's regular meeting room to listen and comment on the most expensive water district ever conceived in North Greenbush. Water 15 would cost each homeowner at least $800 a year in bonding costs for 30 years and another $400 if you hook in to the water. That's a whopping $1200 annual bill for water.

Here is a link to News 6 which was one of several media outlets present. There story can be viewed here.

This water district flows all around the esteemed development coming our way. Why doesn't the town make the developer pick up the tab for the water district? North Greenbush needs to realize we have hot property and can be just as demanding as the town of Bethlehem in terms of aesthetics, what comes in and what the developers have to give back to the town. This town can demand nothing but the highest quality establishments, appealing structures (this shouldn't look like a strip mall) and givebacks like paying for the water district. When will the leaders start working for this town rather than their political cronies?
