It's deja'vu all over again. Just like last year's Democratic Primary, Lou Desso is again making calls on behalf of Mary Sabo. This time he's asking Democrats to vote for Sabo for the Democratic Committee.
Desso has been angry with Joe Bott and the GOP that once supported him and last year he refused to provide them the needed third vote on the board to allow the GOP to appoint a replacement for Bott who became Supervisor January 1st. He's also angry with the Democratic Committee that put him under the microscope for his love of development money.
So congrats to Team Cohoes! After Sabo voted with the GOP to cut the salary of the new Democratic endorsed town clerk by 20 grand and after she signed the designating petition for a Democratic Primary for the GOP endorsed town clerk, she is now embracing the help of Lou Desso who remains under active State and possibly Federal investigation.
How appropriate, the ethically challenged Desso supporting the ethically challenged Sabo. Birds of a feather....
