Sabo Slate's Pitch to Voters a real Slider

We had to chuckle when we read this announcement from the fan club, aka, the slate of candidates put forward by the Sabo's in an effort to take charge of the town Democratic Party which they resent  after the committee declined to endorse her failed run for Town Supervisor.

The author of the letter, Ed Martin, has never once donated to a town Democratic candidate in at least the past 20 years, never assisted a candidate in any way, yet now he knows all there is to know about the committee and has a plan to fix it.

The fact is that the Sabo's both attorneys, want control of this committee so as to continue to allow Josh Sabo to represent developers in town as their attorney. Mrs. Sabo is forced to recuse herself as a town board member from every vote when such a conflict arises. Apparently that law practice could be even more lucrative is she were Supervisor, and the Town Democratic Committee stood in the way. The Committee recognized the conflicts of interest posed here along with conflicts with her full time State job she is still not disclosing.

And while they tout their commitment to ethics in this short release in the Advertiser, they left out their other candidate in ED 7, resident of Cohoes, the Sabo's listed on their petitions as residing here in Wynantskill. His name is Matthew Soussa, a State licensed Realtor.
More on this latter but for now here is their press release and their missing committee candidate who will be on the ballot in ED 7 despite not listing him here.
