Connolly must have forgot the last time

Katie Connolly is pictured above with the Republican slate for town offices she is running with at a recent fundraiser.

She is desperate to win re-election after nearly being defeated last year for the Town Clerk's office. So desperate that she is trying to become the Democratic candidate for town clerk in addition to her status as the Republican candidate for town clerk.

Connolly is circulating Democratic petitions to secure a place on a primary ballot with her opponent, Janice Kerwin, who is endorsed by the Democratic Committee. If Connolly is able to fool voters into thinking she is still a Democrat, she would have no opponent in November. She would have every ballot line leaving voters with No Choice in the election.

The last time a Republican endorsed candidate tried that Al Spain got himself defeated in the Democratic Primary. Voters get it! And Katie is going to find that out the hard way if she goes forward. Aside from the facts that nearly defeated her, namely, her absences from her full time job as clerk, voters deserve and want a choice and Republicans have made their choice, Katie Connolly.
