If you missed the parade yesterday, some of the highlights are here.

Letter to the Editor:

There is a letter to the Troy Record today on the Water District 14 audit which you can read here.

Thanks for the video of the parade. I stumbled on it this morning. Also can you tell me why the town's senior citizens were moved to the end of the parade?
They are part of North Greenbush as is the highway department and have always marched near the begining with our town fire departments and EMS folks.

I noticed that as well. North Greenbush was divided for some reason.
There seemed fewer people this year as well. I checked the town web page for the time yesterday and there was absolutely no mention of the parade, the time, route etc.
Not a very good use of the web page or effort to publicize the event.

Throughout the entire film there is a group of people in the background who are watching the parade. Did the person who posted the video get their permission to, or at least let these people know that would be posted on the internet?

There was a lot of discussion about the treatment received by the Seniors and the Highway Dept yesterday. Many people thought the parade was over and left when they saw all the fire equipment from other towns. In my opinion, they saved the best for last.

It's a public event filmed on a public street. The law requires no permission to film anyone. Kind of like filming a public meeting.
Besides, don't you think the images are grainy enough to make recognition impossible?
