We caught this shot into the body armor of Al Spain and Lou Desso, the Republicrats who are trying to spin the State Comptroller's Audit on the malfeasance in Water District 14 into an issue solely created by the 3 Town Board members who voted for the audit while absolving their often buddies Evers and Kern who voted against the audit request.

After reading the State Audit, it's clear not even the Pope could absolve the Supervisor's documented role in the mismanagement and overruns. As we said last week, Spain and Desso reacted to the audit by putting out a grossly misleading press release attempting to spin the findings as criticism of the Board Majority with Evers and Kern apparently sitting on the sidelines watching paint dry in town hall.
