NG Democrats Refuse to File Reports
The so called “reform” Democrats of North Greenbush who narrowly took control of the town Democratic Committee only to turn over major endorsements to the Republican Party, have failed to file any Financial Disclosure Reports with the Board of Elections since they took control of the party committee in January.
What are they hiding from North Greenbush voters, asked Robert Price of the NG Democrats Club. Since our Club was formed to elect Democrats instead of Republicans on the Democratic line, the Treasurer of the Democratic Committee Kyran Devery, the town’s elected Receiver of Taxes, HAS REFUSED to file not one (89 days late) but TWO (6 days late) required reports with State officials. Price stated his belief the report would disclose their funding by the DEVELOPERS including Casale Excavating, with whom they have formed an alliance to take over the town. He noted that the Conservative Party run by Casale Excavating has also failed to file last week’s 32 Day Pre General Report.
Price demanded that action be taken against the North Greenbush Democratic Committee by election officials. He also asked that the candidates this Committee endorsed demand the filings be done at once . Mark Evers, Lou Desso, Al Spain, Kathryn Connolly and Kyran Devery were supported by Chairman Jeffery Spain and Connolly and Devery are members of the Democratic Committee. Their silence is disgraceful as elected officials. Mr. Devery should also be held accountable as the elected Receiver of Taxes of North Greenbush. “If he can’t record and maintain election and financial records, what is he doing with the tax records of North Greenbush taxpayers?”

Water Vote Update
These details from last evening's board meeting. Evers was so nervous he tried to gag the audience in an effort to keep a TV crew fro Channel 6 from hearing public criticism for his failure to hold the required vote on a plan to bail out his Conservative Contractor in WD 14. The public came prepared for the gag effort with signs that spoke much louder than words could have. The camera was drawn to the white and red signs like a magnet. They said "Vote No on the Bailout of Water 14 October 16th".
The Board went in to a late and questionable executive secession as Evers tried to squirm his way out of a public vote and the humiliation it would engender. At the end of the evening, a compromise of sorts ordered the vote rescheduled for 90 days, January 16, 2008.
Now the only way to protect that right to vote is to defeat those who running with Evers for they will surely repeal the right to vote should they win and take charge in January, which is within the 90 day window for the new vote. We will get more details and post them later in the day.
The Town Clerk misled CH 6 News stating that the over run in District was only $200,000. Why then did Mr. Evers try to borrow $830,000 Ms. Connolly?
Late Financial Disclosure Reports
Kyran Devery
Today is Day 90 for the North Greenbush Democratic Committee violation of State Election Law requiring the on line filing of a Financial Disclosure Report due July 15, 2007. They are also 7 days late on a 32 Day Pre General filing due October 5th.Laws apparently don’t apply to the “reformed” democrats under Jeff Spain and his Treasurer, Tax Collector Kyran Devery. Also the Casale Conservative's are 7 days late filing their 32 Day Pre General Report.

once again it's I TOLD YA SO !!!!!you guys just don't get it....we rule!!!!!!!!and ain't nothing you can do about it.....hahaha
A vote in 90 days? It appears that the majority on the town board continually gives in to Evers allowing him to avoid consequences for his actions. The majority should be holding Evers accountable.
When will the majority inform the public of the incumbent's track record and what they continually have to deal with because of his job performance and unilateral activity?
What is wrong with the Town Board?EVERY TIME THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO STAND UP FOR THE PEOPLE OF THIS TOWN, THEY COLLAPSE.
So now, we'll never have a vote and our money will go down the drain - or up to Casaleville!
Could Evers and Connolly be planning to spend some of that $820,000 to cover the huge shortfall in the 2007 budget? Why else would she say the WD is "only" $200,000 over budget?
Connolly prepared the 2008 budget which will undoubtedly be another mess. Let's hope the good citizens have the courage to get rid of these people.
And you said Ashe and company were bad? Where are they when you need them?
