Power Breakfast "Eggs Germano"
If you had any doubt as to whose behind the political parties driving the Democratic and Conservative Committees, Saturday’s “Power Breakfast” leaves no doubt as to who’s driving the train.
The gathering witnessed by a Pipeline source included F James Germano, J.R. Casale, Louis Cotrona, Edward Casino and Rocco Fragomeni. Apparently Mr. Germano was none too happy with what he heard from several of his assembled guests. Most were giving him the business for his demand to dump Mark Premo as Highway Superintendent and replace him with a developer connected to Casale.
At one point, Germano was visibly upset at the gatherings revolt against his demands and he sat silent with a look that would stop a herd of charging buffalo at a hundred paces! Whether the group will force a change in plan to punish Premo for his apparent refusal to kiss rings is unknown.
But leave no doubt that this takeover of these political parties is motivated by money, contracts and a desire to control the town board which controls each. A vote for candidates nominated by this crew is a vote to put Casale Excavating and Jim Germano in charge of town finances.
Get Well Wishes
Our thoughts for a speedy recovery go out to North Greenbush Police Sgt.Doug Pinzer who was injured yesterday by a falling tree while working an accident scene on RT 43. Get well soon Doug!

They serously underestimate the voters of N.G. if they don't think we're all on to their ways of dirty politics.
Why not best wishes to the firefighter?

I believe a fireman was hurt too. It would be nice to mention him also.
The fireman was treated and released. The officer remained in the hospital at the posting.
