When it comes to the complex equations arising from North Greenbush politics, none is more clear than the Conservative Party equivalent of E=MC2. Here, Conservative equals Contractor Party, or for the more mathematically inclined readers, C=CP2 .
For all of the political Einsteins in our audience, the notion of contractor establishing a business model in which he uses his considerable public cash flow to in effect, run the machine which in turn dispenses the money, should be as alarming as a Black Hole in our Milky Way event horizon. The money we earn is collected through water district bonding , dispensed through a loyal Conservative Committee town employee and relative of the Town Clerk, who approves the payment requests from the Party Chairman’s company, resulting in a happy Chairman and a party payday! Our money is in effect funneled through the equivalent of a political Black Hole from which there appears no escape.
To avoid the discussion of these alarming political equations, those writing for the Conservative Milky Way, most notably Council candidate, convicted felon and Conservative Vice Chairman Lou Desso, studiously avoid the discussion of substantive issues in their PR propaganda. For example, there is never a mention that Chairman Michael Casale is a principal in Casale Excavating. Never a word on the candidates position on the apparent blank check interpretation of a 6.4 million dollar contract which has ballooned to the point where he needs another $830,000 in bonding to make legal what he already received illegally thanks to his pals in the Building Department.
Never do we see a word in print about the propriety of the town supervisor, a Casale stooge, giving a hand delivered check for more than $83,000 to the contractor despite being told by the town attorney such a payment would be illegal and then doing nothing to get it back after the Town Board disapproved of the payment.
North Greenbush residents face what can only be viewed as a clear and present danger to their financial well being and governmental control. A local contractor has used his money, some would say our money, and influence to gain control of the Democratic and Conservative Parties. His allies have made deals with the County GOP to “endorse” his candidates with the Republican line while the Town Clerk, Kathryn Connolly and her brother Tom, the Independence Party Chairman, join the parade to ensure no voter choice at the ballot box in November. Result, They win, Taxpayers Loose. W=SCREWU.

it seems as the "pipeline" is the one that has gotten out of the kitchen.....by not printing replys to some of your more outrageous claims you have doused the flames...the "pipeline" has become a one sided laughting stock much like the town board.......
We print the inteligent replys, but we dismiss the vulgarites and purely contrived responses that have no value to the discourse.
Rather than throw stones at the message today, perhaps you would be so kind as to prove it wrong by telling us where the Conservatives stand on the serious questions poised in the column?
well "I" had no idea that things were so bad! we need to get rid of the whole bunch in that town hall starting with the clerk who seems to be the center of the problems!!
how dare that person hire their relitives (isn't that nepitism)?.
