Mary Sabo's Big Lie catching up to her.

In 2017, as documented in this blog, Mary Sabo decided to primary her party's nominee for Supervisor. When the town committee refused to endorse her citing a belief there were potential conflicts with her State job, she ran anyway, all the while failing to secure permission from the State to run as required.

When the Committee asked the State how she could do both jobs, her employer asked her what was going on. She tried to sidestep them only to find herself embroiled in a fight with her employer when they demanded she cease her campaign.

Mary Sabo hid the letter from the voters and her town party leaders. She ran anyway and would up having to take another job with the State. You can read the many details on this blog. Suffice to say, the letter and an ethics opinion detailing her conflicts of interest surfaced in a court filing and now the GOP is using it and rightly so, to question her ethics. She is even attempting to blame the now former Governor for her failures.

Tomorrow all voters, not just Democrats, get to weigh in. We hope they will support Mike Meyer and Jessica Merola for Town Council. No baggage here.

Why would she have taken the chance of winning a poor paying supervisor's seat at the cost of losing her high paying attorney's job? Perhaps possible subsidies provided by her pals- the very same developers she claims to fight but is actually a sucker for their faint praise and buttering of her proverbial biscuits?!?- Attipa Kellum
