Republicans PIck Their Slate for 2019

With Lou Desso running for cover, North Greenbush Republicans have put together their slate for this year which might be called the "Desso Lite Team"

Desso's hand pick Deputy Supervisor, Joe Bott will have the job of convincing voters that he opposed Desso's action in town government which are now the subject of a State Attorney General's Grand Jury investigation. Trouble is Joe and running mate Kelly Hoffman have a voting record that not only mirrors Desso, but not once did they ever try to reign in his actions while sitting next to him on the town board. They also voted to keep from public view the Grand Jury subpoena the town received which says volumes about their commitment to transparency and open government.

Board member Al Spain is not running again. Apparently he's had enough of covering for Desso too. In his place we hear Republicans will run Kyle Belokopitsky .

Another name surfacing is Ms. Ruffinen who will apparently run for Receiver of Taxes. Katie Connolly will again run for Town Clerk with the GOP. Republicans are not running candidates for Town Justice or Highway.
