If it isn't the Supervisor's conduct, then another official manages to get an unflattering headline. In a major Times Union story on Sunday, an investigative report on code enforcement in the State included the North Greenbush Building Department. Apparently the head of the department also owns a company that builds homes, right here in town.
Call it what you will but it is a pretty clear conflict of interest to regulate construction code when you're also building the homes you regulate.
