Because of changes to the federal law effective January 1st of this year, Lou Desso is not in violation of the Hatch Act by holding a federally funded job and a political office. Now the law will only affect federal employees since the job must now be 100 o/o federally funded to be covered.
Lou Cotrona died suddenly in Florida. He was alligned with the GOP town administration.
