Comp Plan Meeting Tonight

What could be more fun during this cool Spring weather than another meeting of the newly reconstituted Comprehensive Plan Committee? The cold weather may change this week but the forecast for this committee continues to be stonewalling adoption of the completed Comprehensive Plan to benefit as yet unknown individuals who want the development doors kept wide open.

Where's Joe Bruno when you need him? Evers and company are in the pockets of the county GOP which is a division of the Joe Bruno political empire so maybe Joe can tell these birds to get the CP passed before the town looses its opportunity to get State grant dollars from the recently awarded BOA grant and Federal dollars to begin the I-90 connector. Both remain critical components of the CP and time wasted not moving forward puts all of these dollars at risk.

Keep those I-Pods warm folks and stay tuned. The meeting starts at 7PM at town hall.

Evers Runs from News Media
Seems the Town Supervisor is hiding from the Troy Record reporter who filed this story on Evers incompetence which landed the taxpayers a fine of at least $5000 from the State Department of Environmental Conservation for failing to comply with the Storm Water Management requirements known as MS4.

Here is the Record's story today which quotes Democratic Committee members Dan Ashley and CB Smith. Hey Mark, see what happens when you try to hide from the press. They just give your space to your opponents so you get hit twice as hard. You could have offered some type of explanation for failing to direct your friends in the Building Department to get the MS4 work completed as required by the deadline. How about, "I was busy watching the paint dry that a political welfare recipient I voted to hire rolled on the walls of town hall" or perhaps you were too busy to bother town employees whose responsibilities include management of MS4 because "I was trying to make sure the new Comprehensive Plan Committee does not pass the completed plan so the town can loose its Brownstone grant from the state and does nothing to get the funding for the I-90 Connector". Please come up with something so the Record can put your response in for all to see. While you're at it, maybe you can blame it on Smith and Ashley.

At least now we know why we need a Troy City employee to write grants. To try to offset the money Evers looses to fines.
