Congratulations go out to the town police department for their recent achievement attaining official accreditation. It's no small recognition. In fact it is formal recognition of the policies, procedures, training and professionalism of the department.
In practical terms, the department had to met dozens of criteria to receive this status which will make them eligible for grants they were hereto for ineligible to apply for. This will further improve the department in years to come.
We are told that the Chief of Police, Rocco Fragomeni and the Police Commission working with their consultant Steve Dworsy deserve the credit for the work done to attain accreditation.
Our congratulations to all involved in the project!
Publication changes
The Pipeline will likely publish as needed in the weeks ahead. Publishing on a daily basis will not likely be necessary especially during the Christmas season and with transition taking place. We hope to publish at least once a week but certainly as needed.
