Sign of the Times

A picture of this sign was emailed to the North Greenbush Pipeline. It’s rests along the road on Winter Street near the Verizon building. We think it speaks for many town residents who continue to express strong support for Mark Premo and his management of the Highway Department over the past four years.

Submissions for potential signs for Premo’s opponents include:
Vote Yedynak-“I’m 19 years old and need a job.”
And :
Mike Carey: A Developer endorsed and financed by Developers!

Supervisor Cry Baby
Well it didn’t take long for Mark Evers to take the bat and ball and go home. The Supervisor who didn’t get his way on a 3-2 vote by the Town Board as the Appointing Authority, affirmed that only the members of the Comprehensive Plan Committee who are appointed by the Town Board are legitimately seated on the Committee and have voting rights. Evers attempted to stack the committee with politically connected appointees and take it over. This was likely how he viewed keeping his campaign pledge to support such a committee.

After the vote, Evers sent the town board a memo saying he reaffirmed his right to appoint unilaterally, so ha ha! The letter has been thus far ignored.

Children at McDonald's new Playland

The "reformed Dems" including Ed Casino and Jim Germano, who spend their mornings at McDonald's in Wynantskill have taken to a new playtime hobby; drawing mustaches on pictures of their adversaries and hanging them on the wall of the business.

Recently it was a picture of their nemisis CB Smith on which the playland crew drew a mustache and otherwise defaced. Management was not amused and removed the work of these mischievous kids. Now children, lets be adults and put those crayons to work doing your very late financial disclosure report!!!

Late Financial Disclosure Count:

Today is Day 12 for the North Greenbush Democratic and Conservative Committee violations of State Election Law requiring the filing of a Financial Disclosure Report due July 15, 2007. Laws apparently don’t apply to the “reformed” democrats under Jeff Spain and his Treasurer, Tax Collector Kyran Devery. Nor under Michael Casale and his Treasurer, J. David Wos.

I have seen the sign and think it's nice. It's about time there is good will being set forth by "some" in the town. This town was founded by folks who wanted a great place to raise kids and enjoy life.MARK PREMO is a great family man who needs to be recognized for his contributions to the community. This sign is just that and I commend the land owner who thought enough of thier community to say "THANK YOU".
