Seen and Unseen at Hillary endorsement

Our thanks to a reader for some pictures and information on North Greenbush folks both seen and unseen at yesterday’s BIG endorsement of Hillary Clinton by Governor Spitzer.

You may notice the North Greenbush Democrat in this picture with Senator Clinton in the background at the podium. He’s Dan Ashley who was present on stage with the Democratic honchos which included all the State wide elected officials.

Also seen from North Greenbush were Mark Strebb and C.B. Smith. From Rensselaer County, Democratic Chairman Thomas Wade and M. Lynne Mahoney. Each had passes that placed them on the stage with the elected dignitaries from around the State.

Unseen at the event were any of the new leadership of the North Greenbush Democratic Committee. We’re told no loyalty oaths were required by State Democrats as a condition of receiving passes to the nationally viewed event. It is not known whether the new North Greenbush leadership refused to attend because State Democrats refused to sign loyalty oaths for North Greenbush leaders or whether they just weren’t invited.

The North Greenbush Pipeline does not have any input on passes to these events. Take this up with Mr. Spitzer and Mrs. Clinton.

These people running the Democratic Party are just nuts! They are driven by paranoia and hate. It's time to clean them out after just a few months!
No wonder the Governor and Senator didn't invite them.

ya missed the point mr. pipejo..er line..i was invited and gosh i don't hate anyone..well except maybe the french that were shooting at my father during d-day !!!!!!! and again i would not run for supervisor unless i had the support of all the major parties..ie: 1- real dems. 2- loyal dems. 3-casaleitives and of course the new power to be rep. party.......

Our apologies. I don't see how you can get the support of all those factions since one requires loyalty oaths and kissing the ring of the leader. Good luck though!

I'm a Hillary fan, life long registered democrat, but may now consider voting for another candidate if she has the backing of sleazy politicians like CB Smith and Dan AShley. Thanks for the continued updates. I find them very helpful.

Now I know I should consider voting for another candidate.

It may be that Hillary and Eliot would prefer support from people other than you.

Doesn't anyone get it? The taxpayers/voters are looking not for candidats affiliated with a political party, but those who are honest and have integrity.

The concept of party loyalties, especially on the local level, is very passe.

Your point is well taken. But the point of the post can only be measured by reading prior posts in which the current party leadership of the town Dems accuses other party members of being disloyal. Yet these "disloyal" members are accepted by higher party members and invited to political events. The point is that loyalty is not a requirement of membership in a party and no leader has the right to make judgements and punish people for a highly subjective concept such as loyalty to a party official. As JFK once said, "Sometimes party loyalty asks too much."
