Sad News

It is with a heavy heart that we note the passing of Chris Premo, the son of Mark and Margie Premo, who fought valiantly to overcome injuries received last week while paving a road here in town.

Words cannot express the sadness and grief we all feel over the loss of this outstanding young man, son, brother, husband and father.  His parents are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They have hearts of gold.  The loss and burden on them is unspeakable.

Please pray for Chris and his family as they work their way through this loss. Our love goes out to them and we hope that everyone in town keeps them in their prayers.
Addendum: The family has posted the obituary and we have provided a link here.

Also a wonderful page which is raising donations for Chris' family at http://www.gofundme.com/3rukgg

A Sad Reflection on Development Policies

If you missed it, here is a link to an article in the Times Union noting the progress made on the scarred 4 and 43 intersection that has been allowed to become a trophy to incompetent development polices in the town.

No developer should be allowed to begin a project of this magnitude, tear up the landscape and simply walk away, leaving the town's gateway a scarred gutted mess. Yet that's how it's done in North Greenbush and we see the results in this picture of the 4 and 43 intersection. Build it or restore it folks.

Say a Prayer

There was a terrible accident this week in which the son of Highway Superintendent Mark Premo was seriously injured. Please keep Christopher in your prayers and his parents and family as they do everything in their power to get him through this crisis.
